Emergency Rescue Vehicle cum Ambulance for injured Animals and Birds

PRAYAS Team Environment launched an Emergency Rescue Vehicle cum Ambulance for injured Animals and Birds on 22nd April 2007. This vehicle will be useful for PRAYAS rescue team members to lift gravely injured animals and birds and rush them immediately to the veterinary facility. This vehicle will also act as the rescue vehicle for animals in time of any emergency like floods or other natural or manmade calamity. This vehicle is equipped with first aid material and medicines and also equipments to handle animals, birds and reptiles safely. This Ambulance has been launched due to a major donation received for the project from Shrimati Kaminiben Maheshbhai Shroff and Shri Maheshbhai Amichand Shroff.

The Vehicle was inaugurated by honorable Shrimati Bhartiben Zaveri a noted educationalist and a dedicated social worker for welfare of women. Shri Kirtibhai Shroff the trustee of Shri Surat Panjrapole Trust and many noted compassionate citizens of Surat honored the ceremony.
